Shawnee GC with the River Up

I stopped by Shawnee GC on the way back from Indiana today.  I think it will be a while before it's playable!  When looking at these pictures remember that the river is to rise 4 more feet not counting any more rain we may get.
This is looking down #1 fairway from the tee.  Dogleg right.

Looking towards #10 tee box from the #1 tee.

#9 green.  Hard to get a good lie in this fairway!

#18 green looking towards #10 tee box.

The 'First Tee' putting green and the driving range.

I may get down there again this Wednesday and get some comparison pictures.
Well Julie, Jit, does Homestead have THIS much water?

yep, but a tornado hit the Homestead golf course where their Rehearsal Dinner will be in less than a month. Now that's gotta' make you think! Julie, you didn't tell me if the clubhouse was damaged. I'll e'mail you "RIGHT NOW!"

Homestead was flooded for a day but is now just very wet. However, 50 trees were either destroyed or damaged! The largest loss was a 150 yr old Oak on hole #10 that was completely uprooted. (The ones that always seem to be in my way were untouched....of course.) The clubhouse is fine....the rehearsal dinner is not in jeapardy.
