A little more metal detecting

I went back over to the Zoo again today.  This time I detected in the field on the other side of the parking lot, just behind the Butterfly Garden.
It was also a very clean field, not much buried trash.  So, when you got a hit, you dug it up.  I found a couple of different 'spills', one with 7 or 8 quarters in it.  I just made one pass about halfway up the middle of the field, then back again.  So, there's still a large area that needs to be covered.
I didn't find anything worth talking about, except a larger amount of money than you would normally find, due to the amount of quarters.
You sure can tell the pennies that are 1983 or newer just by looking at what they look like after being in the ground a short while.
