I metal detected today for the first time in over 3 weeks! My back is still bothering me, so I thought I'd try it today and see how it went. Well, no problem with the back and sitting here now my back feels better than it has for 2 weeks. I'll see how it feels later tonight when it has a chance to stiffen up. I should've know it would feel better, I called and got a Doctor's appointment for Monday afternoon.
I didn't find anything great, but I did find a 1939 penny. It's next to the key on the bottom. I found 13 pennies and 10 of them were pre-1982, which I call good pennies because they're made of copper. I metal detected in a little grass area next to St. Elizabeth on Burnett Street. I saw that little area the other day and thought it looked like a place I'd like to check out. When I went by there today, a man was cutting the grass and almost finished. Perfect timing. I had someone to ask permission from, and the grass was short.
