Golf at Iroquois GC Round 18 for the Year

I played Iroquois GC today. I decided to ride a cart today. This 90 degree weather this early in the year is just a little much. I didn't play well on the front nine, but played better on the back. I shot a 45 - 40 = 85. The 40 on the back was with a double bogey on 17. I'm still 3 putting greens. I can't seem to keep from it. I just can't get my first putt close to the hole. Usually I leave it short. I mean, way short. I just don't have the feel I need when I'm standing over that 40 foot putt.
Later in the year, walking in 90 degree weather will be tolerable. Just not this early. My body is not used to it. The back nine only had one water jug out, and it was on the 16th tee. I know if I'd have been walking I would have been close to collapse. In the group in front of us, which was one of our groups (we had 3 groups), They made one of the guys quit after the 16 hole because they were afraid he was going to have a heat stroke. They gave him a bogey and par for the last two holes.
I think my game is coming around. I'll find out Saturday when I play Weissinger Hills GC. I'll give Greg Lynn 2 strokes a side. If I win his money, I'M BACK!
