I played my 51st round of the year today. It was better than the 50th round. I shot a 45 - 40 = 85. I feel a little better about my game now. I hated playing terrible Sunday and even worse, I hated the way I acted Sunday. I was very depressed and was dreading the upcoming trip to Tennessee. I hate to be going on a golf trip, a vacation, and dreading it. It's supposed to be fun.
I play from the yellow tees. Sunday I played from the white tees. I think that extra distance intimidated me and threw me off my game. I need to have my head on staight on this road trip if I expect to play better.
We leave Monday morning about 7:30 a.m. headed to Crossville, Tenn. We play 18 when we get there, 36 holes on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Then play 18 Friday morning and drive back. I lobbyed for a shorter trip. We're going to Tennessee instead of Florida. That works. But I also wanted a 'shorter' trip, 3 days instead of 5. Oh well, you can't win them all.
