Topsy-Turvy
You've seen the ads on TV. Topsy-Turvy Tomato Plants that yeild tons of tomatoes. At $19.95 they'd better yield the bacon and lettuce and toast and mayo, too. So, I made my own. I thought I'd try it out to see how it works. I can tell you, they're hard to transplant! This is a Grape Tomato Plant. I'll see how well it produces. I had to buy a very small plant so that I could get the roots through the small hole in the bottom of the pot. It's a big enough hole for the plant I believe. The only thing I've been able to tell so far is that it doesn't get much sun under the pot! I guess it will get more sun as it gets bigger. I'll keep you posted on this experiment.

Wow that is pretty neat. I heard somewhere that they get heavy if loaded with tomatoes. Rudd Ave was named for James Rudd born in Md. in 1789, came to Ky. in 1796 and went into Louisville at age 19 with .50 in his pocket. He was carpenter and painter. He married Nannie Phillips and ran for St. Rep and served several terms. They married at what was St. Louis church, now the Cathedral. He was trustee in the Bank of Louisville. He was called Captain as he was in the AR war. He had one of the first homes in L with gas. He helped start Louisville Gas. He was my grandfather's first cousin. Thanks for listening.
