Metal Detecting a little closer to home....

I didn't get a chance to metal detect today like I planned.  I had to stay around the house making and receiving phone calls to try and get   insurance continued for Mary Lynn now that I'm 65.  It's been a real hassle.  But, because of that I thought I'd pop out in the backyard for a little detecting. I looked for about 10 minutes.  I found this child's play fork and an old Crystal Soap advertising medallion.  The penny is just for size reference.  I Googled Crystal Soap and found out the medallion was issued between 1926-28.  It's in poor shape, with a hole corroded in the middle of it, so it's not worth anything now, but it is an interesting piece.  I found it down in the lower level, by the fence near the old willow tree.

I really like that token. I knew there was more stuff in the yard, and I know there is more yet. Cool!
