Meanwhile, I know the cartoon on the right has nothing to do with golf, but I thought it was funny.
I played Shawnee GC today. It's the first time I've played Shawnee in awhile. It just got way to hot this summer to walk 18 so I decided to take Tuesday's off. But, I played today and walked 18 holes. I shot a 38 - 44 = 82. I played the front nine pretty good but screwed up a few shots on the back that cost me plenty. I triple bogied number 14, with a poor drive and bad chip shots. This was round number 50 for the year.

you do realize the high yesterday was 98. Is that not too hot?
It was very hot yesterday, but there was a nice breeze,or wind, all day which really helped.
